Dust off the dirndls and lederhosen, belly up to a stein of ice cold beer and bite into a succulent schnitzel or a plump, juicy bratwurst smothered in tangy sauerkraut. It’s time again to “get your Gemuetlichkeit on” at the 30th Annual Germanfest Picnic. Three big days - Friday, August 9 from 5 – 11 p.m., Saturday, August 10 from noon – 11 p.m., and Sunday, August 11 from noon – 6 p.m. at Carillon Historical Park, 1000 Carillon Blvd., in Dayton. Polka Mass at 11 a.m. Sunday.  Enjoy the sounds of Alphorn Gruezie, Prost, Alpen Echoes, Chardon Polka Band and Organ Grinder Ted Guilliam. Big 50/50 Raffle and continuous Mini-Raffles. Best Bier selection this side of Munich!  Wonderful homemade German food.  Free admission - on-site parking $2.

WHEN:                Wednesday, July 17 2013, 7:00 PM, DLT Rathskeller

WHO:                   All are invited. Especially need all event/activity chairpersons; crew chiefs, and  interested members, especially anyone volunteering to be more involved.

AGENDA:              Review decisions made, discuss new layout, distribute 50/50 Raffle tickets, take sign/facility orders, order worker tickets, decide how to cover "unstaffed" needs, etc.

WHY:                    To implement our goal of Continuous Improvement and to plan for continued success as a 30,000 to 40,000 attendance festival.
