Welcome to the Dayton Liederkranz-Turner Genealogy Group! The purpose of this group is to assist Liederkranz members and non-members in gathering information about their German
ancestry through meetings, guest speakers, library research field trips, sharing resources and assistance from others in the group.
The group meets on the fourth Saturday of the month at the Dayton Liederkranz-Turner Rathskeller (1400 E Fifth St, Dayton OH 45402)

There will be no February meeting. In place of our meeting I would like everyone to attend the free Family History Jamboree sponsored
by the L. D. S. church, which brings you the free genealogy site, Family Research. This year it will be held on Saturday February 18,
at the L.D. S. church in Centerville Ohio. Classes are all day. Information on the Jamboree is at this web site http://www.fhj1.org.
Registration online is requested.
Please NOTE: If you have not yet paid your German Genealogy Group membership it can be sent to the Dayton Liederkranz-Turner and

Membership Announcement!!
Our membership runs from November 1, to the end of October each year. To help remind you to pay your membership dues for 2011 - 2012,
you can download the Genealogy Group Membership form to fill out and send in with your check. These fees pay for speakers, materials
and equipment for our group.
Genealogy Membership Form
An annual election of officials will be held on November 19th. All officers should be present at this meeting. Voting is to be by members
in good standing and will be open to E- mail voting for one calendar week. I would very much like to have individuals of our group respond
to me of their willingness to hold office, Chairperson, Co-chair and Recorder. Please attend, as we need your help for planning and smooth
functioning of this group.

Family $15.00
Non-DLT members

Family $25.00
After attending one presentation without charge, a fee of five dollars per presentation shall be charged to persons who are not members.
