Join the Dayton Liederkranz as they celebrate the 31th Annual Germanfest Picnic at Carillon Park in Dayton! One of the best festivals of the summer with plenty of fun for the whole family.

SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS

The 2014 winners of Academic Grants are Katherine Kleinberg, Damian Roderick and Peter Kleinberg.  CONGRATULATIONS! Your checks will be presented  at the Germanfest Picnic Opening Ceremonies on Friday Evening at 6:30. The DLT scholarship/grant program is one of the benefits of membership.

CULTURAL DISPLAY

The 2014 Culture Booth will focus on the 50th Anniversary of the Sister City relationship between Augsburg, Germany and Dayton. If you have any items or pictures we could display, please contact Judy Schneider at dayton.liederkranz.info@gmail.com.

GENEALOGY

Interested in your German Heritage? Be sure to stop in and meet some representatives from the DLT Genealogy Group and ask some questions! On-site computers with website genealogy support available will be available in the Kettering Education Building. Or visit The Geneaology Group, which meets monthly at the Liederkranz, with guest speakers and group discussions. Click on the genealogy button on the Liederkranz Homepage for more information.

MEMBERSHIP

The Dayton Liederkranz is always looking for new members. Stop at the Liederkranz display table in the Kettering Building and ask how YOU can join! Membership applications will be available.
